The President of the Christian Reformed Church-Nigeria, CRC-N, Rev. Dr. Isaiah Jirapye Magaji, has called on pastors, members of the church and Christians across Nigeria to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, Israel and the Jewish people.
Rev. Dr. Magaji made the call in a message from Tiberia in Israel, where he is participating in the Eagle Wings Trip to Israel alongside church leaders from fifty-two countries.
He said the delegation is in Israel to stand in solidarity with the Israeli and Jewish people and to pray for the peace and preservation of Jerusalem.
The CRC-N President specifically invited pastors and members of the church to join the prayer on Sunday, October 4, 2026, as part of their worship and pastoral prayers.
He urged members of the Christian Reformed Church-Nigeria to pray that God would continue to preserve Israel and grant peace to Jerusalem and the Jewish people.
Rev. Dr. Magaji also called on the church to include Nigeria in their prayers, seeking divine intervention in addressing the various challenges confronting the country.
He said the prayer initiative would provide an opportunity for Christians in Nigeria to join believers around the world in seeking peace for Jerusalem while also praying for the peace and stability of Nigeria.
He therefore encouraged all pastors and members of the CRC-N to participate actively in the prayer initiative during their Sunday worship services.
CRC-N President Rev. Dr. Isaiah Jirapye Magaji meets with some foreign partners in Abuja for some vital deliberations.
The meeting, which was held at Daniel Centre in Abuja, is aimed at harmonizing the partnership between Christian Reformed Church Nigeria (CRC-N) and One Mission Society (OMS).
The meeting brought together in attendance Rev. Charles Rapp, who is currently the Africa Director of OMS based in America, Rev. Istifanus Bala Bahago, a CRC-N Developer and the West Africa English speaking Village Church Planting (VCP) supervisor, Rev. Habila Wunuji, the CRC-N Mission Director, among other ministers and partners.
The need and importance of the church and mission agencies to create synergy and foster the growth of church planting in every village community formed the bases for the meeting.
